Jamie is a mild-mannered Amish boy with a penchant for cross-country croquet and off-road ballet… pretty typical stuff. He is also the founder of Project American Life (PAL) and the creator of its comprehensive curriculum, “American Treasure: Rediscovering the Spirit of 1776.”

Jamie once thought he was doing the most difficult job in the world when he was teaching 200 kids a week in the PAL program. He soon discovered his grave miscalculations and worldly naïveté… when he started teaching just two… every day… 24/7… as stay-at-home Dad for his own whimsical, farcical children. These days, Jamie moonlights as a writer (and speaker / musician) addressing cultural, moral, and spiritual topics (often while juggling greasy cats).

With the prevailing culture having been greatly corrupted, many Americans are feeling encircled and entangled in many realms… to the point of feeling demoralized. However, Jamie still has hope in the living promise of America’s Founding Principles. He and those who have seen PAL in action have strong reasons for this enduring optimism. We have beheld the “self-evident” in the lives of countless young people:
